This 36-image panorama was taken during the Spring of 2015 with the Wild Flowers in full bloom. The largely-untouched bush land behind the Guilderton Lighthouse features an array of fauna species bursting with colour during the august to october months.

The bright light of the left of the image is the light pollution coming from Perth city, over a hundred kilometers south of Guilderton.

In the sky, we see no less than four galaxies. The two smudges of light towards the left of the lighthouse are the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, two irregular dwarf galaxies orbiting our own.

In the middle of the image, we see the full arch of the Milky Way, our Galaxy, with the core centered in the frame. Towards the far right, the tiny smudge of light above the horizon is our sister galaxy, Andromeda.
